1983 - heute

In 1983 his son, Dr Josef Leichtfried, took over the management, making the globalisation of the company an important goal. But as well as putting the emphasis on quality, he added another strength: the development of many fine colours suitable for every season. This innovation made it possible to win customers from outside the traditional costume business.

Modern machinery was procured for the company's key departments, but the company's vertical integration was not abandoned. At the same time the main premises and external facilities were renovated, so that the company was now able to show a much more welcoming face to visitors.
